Had a fright - all good now.
Finky little Suzi the Destroyer was gone for 14 hours.
Never gone for that long before - always in and out getting snacks and naps.
Then, when she did show up, did she ask to have in? Hah. I discovered her lounging on the stoop when I went to shout for her again. Little Rat Fink.
Oh well. It did motivate me to register both of the girls' microchips, so yay.
Actually, double yay, because originally I thought they were only tattooed, and the intimidating paperwork was only for registering that. I had never done it because I will put off *everything*[1] difficult if left to myself. Fortunately, once I got to the EIDAP site, it was obviously for microchips, and it turned out I had all the info[2], so I registered those suckers to me.
Merciful heavens. I can't imagine having children; you're not allowed to microchip them.

[2] - because I keep everything, Hoarder Deluxe
