Freaking Winter Wonderland - huzzah

We're having snow. We had really really cold, and then much much snow. It has been falling steadily for more than 24 hours and has not yet stopped. I swear there is at least a foot of new stuff.

So far it is very fluffy stuff, and it is now falling off the pines in big swooshy poofs.

We got lucky in my little piece of the coast. Only a few cm fell, and it's already melting. Other parts of Vancouver may be experiencing different conditions, but I haven't been out to verify that.

I haven't watched the news yet, but what I've seen on FB is dreadful - especially out in the valley. Ugh.
