Oh ... freezer burn

So. I had my appointment with the knee specialist, and the upshot is that I have a recommendation to a new local-to-me fat farm - sorry - weight loss clinic.

Oh modern medicine - how I admire your single-mindedness.

It wasn't all downer. I did learn something that makes me less eager (wrong word: I was never *eager*) for knee surgery. It doesn't actually help with improving a person's ability to kneel without pain. Since the impetus to put myself through this humiliating experience is that when I fall I can't get up because I can't kneel - I don't see how this would help me?

Anyhoo. I have his permission to continue to use ibuprofen as long as I tell my general practitioner about it. Good oh.

And who knows? Maybe *this* fat clinic has discovered the magic bullet? Could be; could very well be.[1]

[1] - I doubts it, my precious, because if they had, it would be in all the media and they would be rolling in dough.

My pain levels went WAY down when I had knee surgery. While it is true that I only had 1/2 a knee replaced I can now kneel if I need to, while before it was extremely painful.
As far as weight, it is now far easier to be active than it was before surgery which is helping keep my weight from increasing any further.
