Yes - you surely can't be the only person in Canada who wants to watch those things, can you? Especially given some of the obscure stuff and plain drivel that does make it into the DVD rental lists.
As for the recommendations, Lovefilm (our rental firm) once recommended that we rent The Constant Gardener. Why? Because we'd just watched The Curse of the Were Rabbit. Both to do with vegetables, right? :-)
