Okay, it is just as chilly and just as wet, but when the sun does make an appearance it has warmth in it, and the days are getting longer (even though I feel cheated of that joy in the gradual lengthening of the days by the archaic Daylight Savings Time rigamarole). And, well, you know: Spring!
