Never tempt the gods.

So, I tend to arrive late.  If I try to arrive on time, I'm usually insanely early because I fully expect the gods to get me, and so I allot extra time for the unforeseen.

I wasn't doing anything that ambitious today.  All I did was leave a little earlier so that I was here 15 minutes before I am on most days, and 30 minutes before I arrive on many days.  Since I wasn't actually trying to be on time, I did not allot for events of doom.  I got here okay.  I am all in one piece.  I did not have any close calls on the way.

But once I was here, I dumped my entire full coffee [1] *aaaaaaaallllllll* over the Foundation Hallway.  Fortunately, although facilities was unable to assist and I thought it was going to be paper towels all the way, the Foundation workshop had a mop they were willing to lend me.

So, while that turned out to be less work than I thought it might become - it certainly used up all the extra time I had by arriving earlier than my normal - and I hadda get an another coffee.  Which is tasting pretty fine as I waste the rest of that extra time making a post about it.  :)

[1] - didn't even get a sip.
