... we're having lovely rain this afternoon.
It has been very hot - it reached 33 C yesterday at 3:00 pm. Everything has been browning off, even with my sporadic sprinkling efforts.
Aside from the cooling, and the slaking of the parch, the *sound* of rain is so very comforting.
