I was going to wait to post again once I had gotten my second stab, so the entries would be bookends on nothing, but that is going to be a while, so phooey on that noise.

I have had some breathing tests, and a cardio-ultrasound (which has a fancier name, and I don't care), a chest exray, and a bunch of blood tests. Vial after vial, sheesh even.

I now also have an orange plastic jug in which I am to collect 24 hours of urine. Oh for heck's sake - what the blasted nanny hazard is *that* in aid of?

And I have an orange band on one wrist, a little bit like Canuck's. I'm not allowed to take it off, only a medical professional can take it off. It is delightfully water "resistant". Huzzah. Slightly unsettling were the questions asked me by the blood-taking team: was I heading for surgery, did I have "antibodies" (not any named antibodies, just plain old antibodies). They thought it was very weird, but banded me anyway.

I must say I am getting tired of being a jolly interesting specimen, and people who make arrangements for me (ie surgery) without informing me first are going to find their happy little plans in a heap.
