So, we had riots after the last game of the Stanley Cup.
And then we had mass volunteer clean-up and people writing on the plywood. And then we had business keeping some of the plywood up, over the replaced windows. And then we had security fences in front of the plywood to prevent them from being defaced.
Also, during that last 3 games, the bus shelters on Granville had been taken down (completely dismantled and taken away). About a week after the final game, they were put back.
Almost immediately, the one at the southeast corner of Granville and Georgia became a place to hang small flags with more outpourings about the riot.
