agoodwinsmithI have not been posting for ages. I keep thinking of things but never act. I've decide to just post some drivel for a bit, to get back in the swing.
I was in the Sweet Tooth yesterday, having an Americano and a fruity swirl. It is a hipster hangout, which you know is dated because all the hipsters are pushing baby carriages, but anyways. A group of younger than me [1] people sat near me, the closest being a young man wearing a current cologne.
It smelled like that chilly blast you get when you open the fridge first thing in the morning, after it has been closed for 6 or 10 hours at one go, and you detect a faint taint of bread mould in there somewhere. It is probably a musk and I am misinterpreting my pheremones, or something, but truly: argh.
On the other hand, I remember being that age, and there was a man's cologne, Polo, that just made me and all the young women I knew gag. Euuuuurgh. So, maybe this is another one of those type of scents.
[1] - it is still worthwhile to make the distinction because there are still some, admittedly a small and dwindling number, people who are older than me.
