I have received my first CPP payment. It is tiny because I retired early and because my young years were poorly recompensed, but it is there. Now I can pay bills. Woo.

Note: if you select 01 October as your pension start date, the actual money is not deposited to you until the end of October. This can make October a bit of a squeaky money. Fortunately, I am not solitary in my retirement and can lean on my SOGP for sustenance. This timing is true for both my government pension and my private pension (which has not yet made an appearance). Beware, hark ye, etc etc.

So, this should work:

I do not see an image. Do you see an image?

Okay, this is stupid. "Insert Image" asks me for the URL of the image I wish to insert. Since the only place I have images to insert from are on the Dreamwidth site itself, why is there no autolink to the images I have there?

So, since there isn't, I have gone back to the images I have uploaded to Dreamwidth and copied the imbedding URL offered to me, which is as follows:

Roof line matches hill line. Fall 2017.

which even I can see has extraneous crap.

But hey, I'll give it a go to insert the image right here:

Which gives the above - nothing.

So, trying again with a trimmed URL, like so:
https://agoodwinsmith.dreamwidth.org/file/1909.jpg

And again like so:
http://agoodwinsmith.dreamwidth.org/file/1909.jpg

Um.

Why are the images that did load (no matter the method) so sodding enormous?

What do I do to unenormous them?

Stupid.
