Transition 2
Oct. 29th, 2017 06:18 pmI have received my first CPP payment. It is tiny because I retired early and because my young years were poorly recompensed, but it is there. Now I can pay bills. Woo.
Note: if you select 01 October as your pension start date, the actual money is not deposited to you until the end of October. This can make October a bit of a squeaky money. Fortunately, I am not solitary in my retirement and can lean on my SOGP for sustenance. This timing is true for both my government pension and my private pension (which has not yet made an appearance). Beware, hark ye, etc etc.
