Purple Air - air quality sensor
Aug. 6th, 2023 02:44 pmI think I've shared this before, but I'm going to share it again:

This is the current air quality in Salmon Arm. My Mom lives down there in the soup, and I live up on the bench to the south, near the air port.
There are some places in the world where there are no Purple Air sensors, but it is quite surprising where they are - they are even in Antarctica.
Anyhoo - the quality of air here is super poor. The sky is orange, and there is a veil of grey/beige between me and the houses across the street. It stinks of burning. Being outside means coughing, and burning eyes.
So I have been cooped up in the house for the last four days and nights, and it makes me whiny.
I also have tent caterpillars in my wild plum tree - ugh. The tent caterpillars are really bad this year - you see them everywhere in trees at the side of the road no matter where you go. Ugh.
