When I was looking up misters and how they worked, I stumbled across a whole slew of literature/webbyness that was all about "Are Hotel Misters Using Too Much Water - Hell No!" which means that it's gotta be pretty bad.

Starting here I found that misting systems tend to use one gallon per hour per nozzle:
https://koolfog.com/are-misting-systems-using-too-much-water/
but, by gummie, it's not as bad as using a hotel towel, no sirree bob:
https://koolfog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Hotel-Infographic-Large.pdf
and it's not as bad as using an air conditioner:
https://aquascienceaz.com/blog/what-you-need-to-know-about-outdoor-misting-systems/
and the cons are maybe having to hire a contractor:

So.

So.

SO. We know this means that every hotel and resort and affluent neighbourhood is going to be going gangbusters with misters and water atomizers. Will this create clouds over Phoenix?
