Things are dripping, and the sound in the alley is of tires on wet pavement, not crunching,  Right now, the temp is hovering at zero celcius, so we shall see.

It'll likely freeze overnight, unless the threatened rain sets in right about now and keeps the temperature warm enough for the slush to wash away. Regardless, the rain will be washing away the gloop soon enough.
