Feline Delight - recycling is my downfall

So, yes, the girls are outside, whooping it up.
Well, Suzi is zooming around with her puffed-up tail straight up, climbing trees, and screaming from the branches. Maggie is mincy-toeing around, calling after Suzi in very worried tones, and being spooked by everything.
Suzi escaped while I was getting the recycling out, so I just propped open the door and carried on. That made getting the recycling out a lot easier.
I haven't fed the girls their wet food yet, so that will be my enticement to get them back inside. Ha ha ha.
I do wish I could let the girls out in the old-fashioned way - I know they enjoy it so much. But people are a lot less tolerant of roaming cats, and I do live in an area that gets coyotes regularly, bears quite often, and cougars often enough. And Suzi is so damn belligerent that she will take on the neighbour tough cats with utter confidence and fury, and no reach or weight behind her strikes. She weighs about four pounds - muscly pounds, but only four of them. And even peaceably plump Maggie can wind her up by just putting a paw on her forehead and holding her off.
Hah - I was just in the kitchen, away from the door, and I heard thundery cat feets zooming up and down the hallway and back outside. Suzi, most likely.
