The Mighty Huntress Strikes Again!

So. During one of the afternoon outings for the girls, Suzi came back with a dead bird. Poop. I can't be having with that because (a) we don't need to be killing birds, and (b) nothing will rile the neighbours like a cat killing birds. Given that Suzi pranced back from a neighbour's backyard with her bird in her mouth - well, how *not* to be inconspicuous, there, Puddin' Pants.

So. The afternoon outings are off the menu, but I still let them out when it gets dark. I figured the birds should be tucked up by then, and if Suzi catches a mouse, nobody will care.

So. Last night, when it was time to come in, she brought back a dead mouse. She was so pleased with herself. She argued very strongly that dead mice should be allowed inside. I had a different view, so she decided to stay out with her mouse, and see she if she could win me over with cuteness. Nope.

Eventually she lost it under the front steps, and came in. Very smug, though. ;)
