So, posting is simple, and selecting a journal facade is simple.  Finding other people or other communities is a little bit clunky, and being able to keep tabs on a community without joining is - well, I really don't understand how to do it, or if I've actually done it, or what.  Also, the amount of information presented to the public seems to be based on the facade chosen.  And blah blah blah.

As an alternative to a paper journal, it is good.

'join the community' - you are a member, and can post to it as well as read things in it.
