Sometimes (pretty much every time I try to post) LiveJournal sucks mightily.  I just wanted to upload a picture to make a funny remark, but after an hour of trying to upload, waiting while it said "please wait, uploading" while nothing happened, giving up and trying again, twice, I give up.  I have little enough time to spend enjoying the intertubes, so spending it fruitlessly is not my idea of value.  Livejournal may have  "rationalized"[1] their work force, but the service is of the quality that I am glad I did not fall prey to the temptation to buy a lifetime membership.  I'm not even sure I will renew my paid status when it comes time.

Fortunately I can still read other people's journals.

And post crap like this.  Yay.

[1] - I have always thought that was one of the most blatantly transparent euphemisms.  Rationing and lies (lize).

As long as you don't want to keep more than 200 pictures available online it might be worth it to just get a free flickr (or Photobucket, or similar)account instead, and just link to pics there - it's what I do, and it works just fine. Saves you having to pay for LJ too.
