So. I have conflicting beliefs about just about every damn thing.
While I believe/suspect that the personality is dissolved upon death, I also believe that everything, including wingnuts, has consciousness, and that the more immobile it is, the more frustratedly cantankerous it is about it.
Remember the built-for keyboard that packed it in? Well, I bought an el cheapo wireless logitech, plugged it in, and resumed protected computing - aaaaaand the original keyboard started working again. I know this because both keyboards were creating input during a very confusing foray into typing. So, now I am using the original, with the other one put away where the original can see it. It are a funny old world, yessir.
My back/intestine thing is so much better, but it still ain't "normal". I still can't sleep in my bed. As soon as I recline in a flat way, twinges start in the ground zero original twingey place. After half an hour, major pain on the other side wakes me up, and getting out of bed is *incredibly* painful - like evil demons stabbing me a lot painful. These linger and need to be coaxed to go away (FCVO go away - meaning: never completely). I am wondering whether some of the pain is from levering myself up. I have been sleeping (FCVO sleeping) in a big reclining chair, which has motorized movement. It returns me to a sitting upright position without any effort on my part. Therefore I suspect that a fancy folding bed won't actually help because one still needs to lever one's self up.
I am suspecting cantankerous things with regard to the bed. Never ever ever have I had a back ache from this bed. Just never. Then, one little bout with the death-flu, and here we are. Hah.
