Oooh, Richard Coyle! Charles Dance! Never seen Claire Foy, but I hope they don't screw up miss Dearheart...she seems to me to be the most likely to be changed.
Yes. I think he could do a creditable Groat, but I suppose it is too small a part. I have heard that sometimes actors will take a small part on the condition that they are not listed in the credits, because the size of your last part dictates the size of the parts people offer to you. Damn silly world.
Maybe it's because I never watched Strange and therefore only know him as Jeff, but I have a hard time visualising Cole as someone so undistinctive he has trouble catching his own eye in the mirror.
The rest of the cast that I recognise sounds awesome, though.
(I notice Ridcully's still TBC. It occurs to me that he one of two characters so far [apart from Death] to appear in two Mob productions [the other being Lord V.) so it'll be interesting to see if they try to get Joss Ackland back.)
I would really like to see Tim Curry do Ridcully. Ridcully is supposed to be a man who can stay up all night playing billiards and whatnot and then head out huntin' and fishin' at 5:00 am. Joss Ackland was fun, but a bit frail-looking. I know Tim Curry has become a fleshy man, but it looks like it could be the kind of flesh that jogs around the quad and plays trick-shot billiards off the back of the Bursar's head. He definitely could do the shouting at the Bursar part. :)
