So, I thought I didn't have mice, but the girls have shown me my mistake. Argh.
This evening is the third mouse, which they killed far too slowly (like the rest), and which I hope they have eaten or it is stashed somewhere (ew ew ew).
And they are now still riveted to the base of the fridge, where I guess the little colony lives. Actually, I think they mostly live under the floor and in the walls, running along the heating ducts and the water pipes. Sometimes the girls are riveted to staring at the water shutoff valve behind one of the toilets. Sometimes they stare intently down one of the heating vents.
They also spend a lot of time shouting the feline equivalent of TALLY HO! and racing madly down the hallway to stare intently under something else.
