Telus Landline fixed
Jan. 3rd, 2023 02:57 pmIt took some doing, and two tech visits, but my landline is now fixed.
I know I am supposed to embrace the new smartphone age, but (1) I live in a tin box trailer and so I cannot receive cell phone calls inside my faraday box - texts okay, but no phone calls; (2) I am as stupid as the day is long, and having my banking on my phone where any scammer can see me coming and get my stuff - no; (3) I resent a lot of things about aging, but enfeeblating eyeballs are really really not okay - watching anything on that inky dinky screen is not a thing; (4) other reasons that make me froth impotently when I remember them.
Anyways - doing my bit for aging tech.
