Happy Solstice Y'All
Jun. 20th, 2021 10:47 pmI have some American second and third cousins who speak proper "y'all" and it doesn't take much time to fall into the habit when in their company, so I feel entitled to the "y'all". For years and years I thought it was Barvarian Cream, and I still think that sounds better. We also warsh our clothes.
Anyhoo. I always like the lead up to this Solstice because the days have been getting longer and longer. I am immediately bummed when we hit this date because the slow slide into darkness has begun.
It does mean that fresh plant things will be available, so the fact that we are consuming them during the encroaching darkness should raise our spirits a bit. Huzzah.
