That deserves a brownie.
Mar. 4th, 2011 10:26 amI never get rewarded for being early (okay, earlier than my normal).
Today there was a 9:00 am meeting at work, so I got my butt in gear and got it out the door in time. I left by the back alley, as I do everyday, and walked up to Dunlevy so that I could catch a bus on Hastings. Aaaaand, I managed to cross a crime scene[1], and so had to have my ID and information taken. Drat.
So, I missed a bus, but caught another one in time to make my connection. And I fell on the bus because we started moving before I was ready, and I had a hard time getting up, and I was sooooo embarrassed. Drat.
And I made it to work in time for the meeting. Go me.
It is after the meeting, and I am perfectly fine, but since there are no bran muffins in the cafeteria, I am having a snorting big brownie of mega chocolate choclateness with my coffee. So there.
